Chronic sinusitis occurs when the spaces inside your nose and head are swollen and inflamed for three months or longer, despite treatment. This condition interferes with the drainage in your nose, which leads to it being stuffy. Breathing through your nose may be difficult and your eyes might feel swollen or tender.
If you have had sinustis multiple times and it has yet responded to treatment or if you have had symptoms last longer than 10 days go see your doctor.
